Essential skills for running a CPD session

This session is for anyone who leads CPD sessions in their own schools or beyond. Teachers are increasingly getting the opportunity to deliver these sessions to colleagues and this session will provide you with a practical toolkit to do so successfully.  

  • Using technology effectively 
  • How to engage your learners 
  • Getting meaningful evaluative feedback.

This session will be led by Deborah Lodge, who as well as being an experienced secondary teacher and Subject Leader regularly trains adult volunteers for Girlguiding, the UK’s leading organisation for girls and young women.  Over the last two years, she has also led the design and delivery of Learning & Development nationally for volunteer leaders on Girlguiding’s biggest ever change to their youth programme.


Getting the best out of Google classroom

Challenge in Maths at KS2

Thursday, 28 November 2019 4:00 pm -5:30 pm

Aimed at :Year Five/Six Teachers and KS2 Leaders/ Maths Leaders

This course aims to: 

  • Explore and discuss practical strategies for stretching the highest achievers 

  • Provide techniques for maintaining the motivation and improvement of the most able 

  • Consider how to incorporate meaningful maths reasoning into lessons

 The session will be delivered by Jess Beech who is the Maths Coordinator and KS2 Leader at High Ash with over 10 years teaching experience and a Masters in Education.
