How to develop personalised teacher CPD in your school

Tuesday, 19 March 2019 4:00 pm -5:30 pm

This coures is aimed at Middle and Senior Leaders to aid developing personalised CPD and evidencing the impact on teaching and learning.

The course will:

  • Share best practice on how to develop personalised CPD
  • Provide ideas for how to evidence impact of CPD on rapidly improving teaching and learning 
  • How to make this managable and avoid increasing workload
  • Share best practice and ideas on how to monitor impact and support teams to achiev performance management targets

Course leader: Sara Boyce

Sara is a Headteacher with over 10 years experience as a Head and Deputy Head in a range of primary schools and settings. Sara is currently working with schools in Buckinghamshire as a consultant Headteacher for school improvement.


Primary Subject Leadership

This course will provide an overview of Leading a Curriculum area in the Primary Phase including:

  • How to co-ordinate a subject area
  • How to Liaise with your designated governor
  • How to collect evidence and prepare for an OFSTED visit

Course Leader: Tara Trail 

Tara is a Senior Deputy Head Teacher at Middleton Primary School which was awarded Outstanding in their last OFSTED inspection.
